The Rev. Dr. Danielle Elizabeth Tumminio is an Episcopal priest and public intellectual who holds three degrees from Yale University and a doctorate from Boston University. Author of three books and numerous articles, she has appeared on national and international news outlets ranging from CNN to the Today Show Australia.
Danielle’s expertise in relating faith to popular culture emerged when she began teaching a class on the relationship between Christian theology and the Harry Potter series at Yale University. She has since become known for her innovative pedagogy, her open-mindedness, and her way of explaining how faith and contemporary life intertwine.
A native of Rockville Centre, New York, Danielle resides in Massachusetts with her husband and daughter. In addition to her work as a priest and writer, Danielle is a certified life and career coach, a spinning instructor, and an avid yogi.
